- Armend Berisha, Project Coordinator- Universum International College
Armend’s Bio:
Armend holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Policy Administration from the University of Iowa. He completed his BA in Political Science at the University of Prishtina and another BA in Business and Administration at Universum College. Armend is a director of the Quality Assurance Office at Universum College and is a leader of the team for projects and international cooperation. Armend is currently lecturing at a Student Success seminar at the Universum College. Armend has an extensive experience on project implementation which were mainly funded by USAID and EU Commission and has a three-year experience on senior management by being a Campus Coordinator of Universum College in Gjakova. Armend is primarily interested in increasing student success in higher education and measuring the effectiveness of innovative and unconventional pedagogical methods.
- Urtina Gashi, Lecturer- Universum International College
Urtinas’s Bio:
Urtina continued her higher education in Tirana-Albania where she graduated in Painting – Textile and Fashion Bachelor. In 2022, she finished her Master’s studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tirana in the “Painting – Textile, Fashion and Teacher” Department. Her career began in 2015 at the “Etnik Shala” studio, where she worked for two years in the Fashion Design position. During her Master’s studies, Urtina continued as an intern at the SH.M.L.A. A “Odhise Paskali ‘ school in Peja. She continues her experience by working in the company “Albina Dyla ” in the position of Patronist where she contributes to many big projects, among others, in the cuts for several world artists at the Cannes festival. Urtina Gashi took part in many important events such as the Final Night of the 18th edition of the international operatic vocal festival “Marie Kraja ” in Tirana with the dress created Mozart: Idomeneo Elttras-Aria. On July 14, 2022, Urtina’s career took a big leap, at the URBAN SCULPTURES evening held in Tirana, Urtina presented the BLOOM Collection with 5 outfits which were the most liked by the entire audience.Today, Urtina continues to lecture near Universum College. She is ready to offer you students this learning experience, to help their fruitful careers and continuous advancements.

Arben’s Bio:
Arben Grajqevci is a lecturer in the field of Design at Universum College. He holds a Master Degree in Visual Communications, Faculty of Arts at University of Prishtina.
He started his creative career in the profession of Graphic Designer, in the media and marketing industry since 1997, working in the most prestigious media of the time (KOHA DITORE, “Prishtina Insight”, “JAVA”, “Nacional”, “KOMBI”).”, etc.) After more than a decade of experience in media and marketing, he focuses on Branding and Identity, Visual Communication, Typography and applied this experience in “Promotion and Marketing Studio – Network”, which he founded in 2008. - Arjana Blakaj, Lecturer- Univerum International College
Arjana’s Bio:
Arjana Blakaj is a lecturer in the field of Design at Universum College. She completed her Master studies at the University of Tirana in the field of Fine Arts, painting, fashion design- teaching, and her Bachelor studies at the same university in the field of Fine Arts. Ms. Blakaj has worked from 2020- 2021 as an external expert for the projects of the cultural youth and sports department. In 2018 she worked as an assistant at the Academy of Arts, Tirana\Esthetics. For 3 years she has worked at “Hysni Zajmi” high school in teaching practice. In 2015 she worked as a teacher of arts for a year. Some of her certificates and training are: BEST WORK IN THE ANNUAL SCHOOL EXHIBITION OF “Textile and Clothing Design” FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT BETWEEN STUDENTS IN THE CULTURAL HERITAGE PROJECT supported by the Italian Organization Intersos. Development of young people’s skills for digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
- Flora Krasniqi, Project Coordinator- Polis University
Flora’s Bio:
Dr. Flora Krasniqi is Head of the International Unit and Projects at Polis University. She has led various Erasmus and Tempus capacity building projects, with Polis as coordinator, as well as other projects funded by national and international programs. With a specific interest in the sustainable development of links between academia and industry and with a special focus on innovation and applied research, she manages the Projects section within Innovation Factory. Lecturer of several subjects and modules such as: Academic Writing; Scientific Research Methods; Project Management.
- Sonija Jojic, Lecturer- Polis University
Sonija’s Bio:
Sonia Jojiç by profession is a designer educated in USA and Albania, currently in the position of Head of the Department of Art and Design and as a full- time Lecturer at POLIS University, Tirana, Albania. Graduated from;”Wayne State” University in Michigan USA; Scientific Master in “Media, Communication and Digital Image Arts”. In addition to his studies in the USA, Jojič also holds another Master of Science Degree in “Applied Design” at POLIS University Tirana. Completed joint PhD studies in 2017, obtained from POLIS University, Tirana in collaboration with the University of Ferrara, Italy, with a focus on “Methodologies of city branding in promoting sustainable tourism trends”. Since 2017, Jojiç is part of the “Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education” and an external expert in the evaluation of Educational Programs of Applied Art and Design, appointed by the Ministry of Education in Albania.
- David Kryemadhi, Lecturer- Polis University
David’s Bio:
David Kryemadhi is lecturer at the Department of Art and Design, at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Polis University. Previously, he was a Lecturer at the University of Durrës “Aleksandër Moisiu” and at the University of Fine Arts “FAB”, Tirana. with a career as a professional illustrator and character designer for 10 years, passionate about graphic novels, animation and character design, he works in the national and international market. Also, in his career as an illustrator, he won three times the first prize in the national competition “Albanian Graphic Novels” conducted by the Ministry of Culture and participated as an illustrator in workshops and exhibitions of this art form. David has illustrated several different publications in the Comic Book and Graphic Novel category in print and digital format. The Graphic Novel “Curse of the Katana: Origins, Curse Bourne Out of Love, Book 1” is one of the most successful international publications to date illustrated by David written by author Phuoc Vu.
- Ketrina Cabiri Mijo, Project Coordinator- European University of Tirana
Ketrina’s Bio:
Dr. Ketrina Çabiri Mijo completed her Doctoral Studies in Corruption and Public Procurement Decision Making at the European University of Tirana (UET) in 2018, supported by a research course at the Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the University of Essex (funded by the Civil Society Scholarship Award) and in the Department of Political Science and Sociology, University of Salzburg (funded by the Sigma Agile Program). Ketrina holds a Master’s degree in European Policy from the University of Sussex, UK in 2009. During 2017, Ketrina was involved as a researcher in the TRAIN program for dialogue and policy promotion in the Western Balkans, supported by the German Council for Relations with Outside (DGAP). Since 2011 Ketrina has been involved as a project manager in the Office for the Development of Projects and Partnerships at UET and is currently the Head of this Office. Previously worked as an expert of European Research and Development Programs in the Agency for Research, Technology and Innovation (AKTI) under the Council of Ministers. - Ermir Nika, Senior Expert/ Researcher- European University of Tirana.
Ermir’s Bio:
His professional activity has extended to several important areas both in terms of artistic creativity and in terms of study and scientific research. In 2016 he earned the title Doctor of Philological Sciences with the topic: “The beginnings of modernity in Albanian novel prose”, while in 2005 he completed the postgraduate degree for the title Master at the University of Tirana, Faculty of History – Philology, branch Language – Literature. He completed his graduate in the field of language and literature in 2000 at the University of Tirana at the Faculty of History and Philology. From 2001 to 2019 he had been working in the Ministry of Culture as an expert, Head of Sector and also as Director in the directorates of written culture and arts. Ermir Nika is the author of a series of works of literary and scholarly character, where can be mentioned: “Polyphony” study, “Beginnings of Modernity in Albanian novel prose” study, “Slave of Heights”, novel, “Bohemian Quartet”, poetry, Net Sinners “, stories, children’s novel” Grandfather in the Frame “, publication of the poetic volume” Cold Clouds “, publication of the study work” Çajup’s work and its meetings with literary currents”, “Notes of a European near Buda and Hiroshima” , “The River of My Dreams” poetry. His literary and research work papers have been translated and published in several foreign languages as in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Romanian, Arabic, Serbian, Macedonian, etc. From May 2019 and ongoing Dr. Ermir Nika is the Head of the Department of Applied Arts at the Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts at the European University of Tirana.
- Anila Zajmi Katanolli, Senior Expert/Researcher- European University of Tirana.
Anila’s Bio:
Msc. Anila Zajmi-Katanolli is an artist and lecturer known as a designer in the field of fashion and decor. She is also known as a prominent painter inside and outside the country, as well as costume designer of weighty performances in several genres of the stage, such as: theater, opera, ballet, television and film. Criticism in particular has defined her as an experimenter of art and tradition, in reviving old national heritage techniques as an ethnology researcher. In general, in her work Zajmi is interested in the human figure and in those positions and poses which highlight their clothes and decor. She inspires and enriches her figures with the main purpose of enriching her collection from which she draws with a masterful experience and builds new models for her costume figures that for years accompany the performances of opera, theatre or presentation shows created by her.Anila’s works are more complete and different and with an originality, but in them she feels and understands that she has known to take from her father’s creativity that particular one which she takes further, and that is exactly the creative courage, stopping at the motives. national decorative and their placement in a modern context and form. - Gejsi Tafa, Senior Expert/Researcher-European University of Tirana.
Gejsi’s Bio:
Gejsi Tafa is a creative designer and assistant lecturer at the European University of Tirana. He has completed a bachelor’s degree in Transportation Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (2011-2014 in Turin, Italy) and a Master’s degree in Transportation Design at the Strate École de Design (2016-2018 in Sèvres, France). During the years 2014-2016 he has collaborated with wellknown entities in the field of Albanian publications such as the OMBRA GVG Publishing House, Dituria Publishing House, and the Association of Albanian Publishers (AAP). Has realised the project of visual branding of the 18th Tirana Book Fair (2015), the design of the pavilion of the Albanian delegation at the Leipzig Book Fair (2015) in Germany, as well as the design of the AAP stand at the Podgorica Book Fair (2015) in Montenegro. Throughout his master’s degree studies, he has worked on several projects in partnership with Renault, Faurecia, GEFCO and Schoolab in the field of Automotive Design and Logistics Design. For years he has been working as a consultant and freelance designer for various clients in the field of digital, graphic, and industrial design. In 2018 he published the book “History of Design” by the author Prof. Gabriella D’Amato, which she translated from Italian into Albanian. He also worked as a graphic designer (cover, layout, and advertising campaign) for the publication. Gejsi Tafa has participated in several international design competitions. He recently won the silver award in the Car Design Concept category at the IAI Design Award 2019 international competition with the “Toyota FJ-id Experience” project.

Evangelia’s Bio:
Dr Evangelia Georgitsoyanni is a professor in history of art and civilization at the Harokopio University of Athens, Department of Economics and Sustainable Development. She holds a PhD and a master’s degree from the University of Paris I (Panthéon – Sorbonne), France, and a bachelor of history and archaeology degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She was coordinator of the Erasmus+ KA2 “Threads crossing the warp” (CROSSWARP) project (2019-2022). She is currently Head of the Laboratory of “Sustainable Tourism and Culture” of the Department of Economics and Sustainable Development. She is a former vice-rector of academic affairs and personnel and former dean of the School of Environment, Geography and Applied Economics at the Harokopio University, as well as a former vice president of the General State Archives of Greece. Ekaterini’s Bio:
Dr Ekaterini Antonopoulou is an associate professor in learning and communication at the Harokopio University of Athens, Department of Economics and Sustainable Development.She holds a PhD (1999), University of Sheffield, UK; a M.Ed. in Educational Psychology (1994), University of Manchester, UK and a B.Ed. in Primary Education (1991), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interests focus on the growth of communication in children with and without learning disabilities as well as the impact of social skills on children’s social behaviour and autonomy in the school and family contexts. Her research interests focus on the growth of communication. Dr. Antonopoulou has published in numerous International and Greek scientific journals.She was a member of the HUA team of the Erasmus+ KA2 “Threads crossing the warp” (CROSSWARP) project (2019-2022).

Evanthia’s Bio:
Dr Evanthia Andrikopoulou is member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff of Harokopio University specialised in “Culture and New Technologies’ ‘. She has a bachelor degree in Theatre Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is holder of a master’s degree in documentary production from Middlesex University-London and holder of doctoral degree from Harokopio University. During her undergraduate studies, she was taught the courses “Costume Design” and “Set Design” and was a member of the coordination group of the Exhibition entitled “Greek Set Designers – Costume Designers and Ancient Drama”, [Cultural Center of the University of Athens – Kostis Palamas Building (31/03 – 30/ 04/1999)] and of the writing team of the book “΄Greek set designers – costume designers and ancient drama.” Edition: Department of Theater Studies EKPA and Ministry of Culture. Diturije’s Bio:
Dr. Diturije Ismaili is Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Mother Teresa University and Coordinator for EU Projects at MTU. She was leading the Research and Project Office at Epoka University in Tirana from September 2014 until October 2017. She has been working as Head of Research at South East European University for 12 y. where she has led several TEMPUS Projects, FP7, COST, and other internal and external projects. She has been Member of Development Board TEMPUS “Intégration et structuration des relations internationales dans les universités macédoniennes” 2003-2004, Member of the DB in the TEMPUS Project “Developing Doctoral studies in social sciences according Bologna Process” 2006-2008, coordinator and TF leader in the TEMPUS project “JOINSEE” 2009- 2012. Member of the Steering committee in the TEMPUS project “Interuniversity 2nd and 3rd cycle IR study programs in Macedonia”- 2008- 2011. She has been SG of the Academic Research Committee at SEEU since 2005 and Editor of “SEEU Review” since 2007 published by De Gruyter. Currently she is coordinator of different Erasmus Plus CBHE. She is running two COST Actions as coordinator from Epoka University (IS1402;IS1404) and one COST Action as coordinator from MTU. Diturije is Higher Education expert, and she has been engaged with the National Accreditation Agency for Albanian Institutional accreditation and external expert for evaluation of Erasmus+ in the framework of the National Agency of Erasmus Plus in the Republic of North Macedonia. She has published several papers in international journals with impact factors. Diturije currently is involved in ongoing support for grant proposal development at Mother Teresa University. She participated in different international conferences and training. She is teaching courses in Human Resources Management, Research Methods in Social Sciences, Public Policies, etc.

Merita’s Bio:
Merita Bunjaku – Sylaj – Program Manager – has graduated in UP Prishtina University degree in“Business Administration” and is Certified Management Consultant – CMC with international Institution BCC / ICMCI. She has more than (23) years working experience with International, and Non-Government Organization and Private Businesses in Kosovo to various sectors and multifunction positions. As the program Manager is responsible for planning and executing programs that meet the goals of the organisation. Merita B.Sylaj – aims to contribute to Kosovo Apparel Marketing Association (KAMA) and make it an important Association in the development of the private sector in the Apparel Industry of Kosovo, at the same time making sure that ethics and social responsibility remain the main priority.

Artika Azemi – Project Assistant – has graduated in UP Prishtina bachelor – Political Science – she has 7 years working experience. Overall, Project Assistant of KAMA is to provide support to the project team to ensure that the project runs smoothly and is completed successfully.
- Kebjana Haka, Executive Director-UET Centre
Kebjana’s Bio:
Kebjana Haka is Head of Office for Project Developments and Partnerships at the European Institute Pashko. She has received a master’s degree in governance and public administration from the Albanian University in Albania and she earned a Bachelor of PhilosophySociology in Social Sciences from the University of Tirana. Since 2013, she has been involved in the management of several projects related to regional cooperation, the European Union and good-governance issues. Ms. Haka has an extensive working experience in project cycle management with a focus on developing, monitoring, evaluation, assessment of institutional performance indicators and as well as in assisting local governance units and local communities. For over five years, Haka has held the position of senior expert on IPA CBC and Transnational Cooperation Programs at the Ministry of European Integration in Albania. Subsequently, she was appointed Project Manager of Technical Assistance projects in the Ministry of European Integration, financed by the European Union.
- Dr. Hazi Hazri, Dean/Senior Researcher- University of Prishtina
Hazi’s Bio:
Prof. Hazi Haziri is the dean of University of Prishtina since 2020. He completed his BA and MA studies at University of Prishtina in the field of Acting. He completed his PhD studies in Tirana, Albania in the same field. From 2012- 2020 was Vice Dean in University of Prishtina. In 2016 he started his career as a Professor in the field of Acting, which he continues to do still. He was a member of the Board of the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo for a year, starting in 2014. In 2011 he became a member of the presidency of the Union of Film Artists in Kosovo (UAFK). In 2007 he started his position as an assistant in Acting. In 2015 he was deputy CEO at Balkan Institute for research and Development (BIRD). From 2014- 2015 he was a member of the Board of the Cinematographic Center of Kosovo.

Zeni’s Bio:
Prof. Zeni Ballashi has finished his BA studies in Tirana in the field of Fine Arts. He completed his Master studies at the University of Prishtina in the same field. He completed his Doctoral studies at the Academy of Albanological Studies in Tirana, Albania. He finished a Specialization course in Visual Arts in Oslo, Norway. Prof. Ballashi has a very rich background. He started lecturing from 2012 to 2019 in the field of Fine Arts in Prishtine, Kosovo. He also has worked as a lecturer in the University of Tetova. He worked at the National Gallery of Kosovo as an acting director.

Genci’s Bio:
Prof. Genc Rezniqi is coordinator in the Faculty of Arts. He completed his BA studies at University of Prishtina in the field of Fine Arts- Design. He finished his Master studies in Applied Arts at the same University. His PhD studies he finished in the field of Theory and History at University of Prishtina. He has worked as a Member of the UP Advisory Committee. He has been a member of Red Dot Design since 2017, and Member of the presidency of the World Design Organization since 2018.

Rreze’s Bio:
Prof. Rreze Kryeziu is a professor at University of Prishtina. She has completed her Bachelor studies at University of Prishtina in the field Musical Art. She finished her Master studies at University of Kiril i Metodij in North Macedonia. She finished her Doctoral studies in the Faculty of Human Science at University of Bern, Switzerland. She started her teaching experience in 2007 in different High Schools, until 2012, where she was Director of Misbah&Friends school of Musical arts. Ms. Kryeziu took part in different personal and group exhibitions, solo concerts etc.
