The COUTURE Project held its second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) in Athens, hosted by Harokopio University on June 13-14, 2024. Over the course of two days, partners gathered to review progress and set the stage for the next phases of the project, focused on fostering sustainable fashion practices.
The first day of the meeting opened with a thorough review of project deliverables, presented by colleagues from Universum International College. They outlined the upcoming deadlines and milestones, ensuring all partners were clear on the timeline and objectives. Following this, an insightful presentation of the Need Analysis results by KAMA and UET Center sparked a discussion among the consortium about the findings and their implications for the project.
As the day progressed, Harokopio University and Mother Teresa University took the stage to present the prepared module materials. The detailed presentations prompted a collaborative exchange of feedback, as partners engaged in an extensive discussion about the specifications and future development of the modules. Due to the richness of the dialogue, the conversation was paused to continue on the second day.
The second day began with a focus on the logistical aspects of the project, including a discussion about the purchase of equipment for module development. This was followed by a detailed presentation on the Quality Plan, delivered by POLIS University, which provided an opportunity for partners to revisit key aspects of the module creation process.
The meeting also addressed the project’s website and dissemination efforts, led by UET. The partners discussed strategies to enhance the visibility of the project’s outcomes, with an emphasis on leveraging social media for wider impact.
The meeting concluded with a summary of key decisions and a clear outline of the next steps. A small group of partners had the opportunity to visit the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center to close the event on a cultural note.
This gathering marked an important milestone for the COUTURE Project, as partners aligned their efforts to advance the development of educational modules and continue promoting sustainability in fashion.
